Samsung has expanded its product lineup with the launch of
its rugged tablet- Galaxy Tab Active 2. The company has priced the device at Rs 50,990 and it will be available in
the country starting mid-March 2019.
The Galaxy Tab Active2 was subjected to 21 rigorous tests for MIL-STD
810G certification, and it passed them all: drops, shocks and vibrations,
high/low temperature and humidity, and even high altitudes. The tablet comes with IP68 rating which makes the device dust and water resistant. It is also protected against vibrations, accidental shocks and drops, and rain and dust, can remain 1 .5-meter underwater for 30 minutes.
This ruggedized tablets comes with a water-resistance S Pen2
that looks and feels like a typical pen but allows your team members to easily
jot down digital notes, sketch ideas or capture signatures. With the Galaxy Tab
Active2’s Enhanced Touch option, water and protective gear don’t get in the
way. Rain and snow simply roll off the water-resistance screen2 and
Glove mode makes things easy for protected hands.
